Student Recruitment and Community Engagement Office (SRCE) had scheduled four campus tours on Open Day. The response was overwhelming. Eight additional tours had been arranged to meet the demand. A total of 260 visitors joined the campus tours to discover the hidden corners of the Academy.
Three student ambassadors majored in acting, voice, composition and electronic music were trained to be the tour guides. They introduced the history, architecture and facilities of the Academy enthusiastically to the visitors. The participants expressed that the tour was informative yet fun. They found that it was an eye-opening experience to visit the backstage workshops, TV studio and theatres of the Academy, and they appreciated the sharing of the student ambassadors during the tour.
A secret guest, the famous actor Anthony Wong Chau-sang, appeared in one of the tours in the afternoon session. The visitors were so happy to greet this friendly alumnus of the Academy.
學生招募拓展處在 2019 年 3 月 1 日舉行的學院開放日，安排了四場學院導賞團給市民大眾。由於反應熱烈，再加開八團，為二百六十名訪客提供導賞服務。
擔任導賞員的三位同學來自不同學院，分別主修表演（戲劇學院）、聲樂（音樂學院）、作曲與電子音樂（音樂學院）。他們不但為參加者介紹演藝學院的歷史、建築特色及設施，還帶領大家走訪校園不同角落；包括後台製作工場、電視錄影廠和不同用途的表演場地。參加者均表示導賞團資訊與趣味兼備，讓他們大開眼界。
當日下午更有戲劇學院校友，著名演員黃秋生作神秘嘉賓，參與了其中一節導賞團。參加者顯得十分雀躍，紛紛表示不枉此行。
