Discovering the Chinese Opera workshop was successfully held on April 17, 2019 by the School of Chinese Opera of the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts.
In the workshop, students learnt the basics of Cantonese Opera including the four key elements "Singing, Recital, Acting and Acrobatics" through observations of performance and demonstration, as well as taking part in practical exercises, interactive activities and costume wearing. The workshop aims to enhance students' understanding of Cantonese Opera, one of the World's Intangible Heritage. Towards the end of the workshop, the Head of Project Management of the School of Chinese Opera explained the admission requirements and career pathways of our graduates to the students who may be interested to apply for this unique degree programme in the near future.
香港演藝學院戲曲學院於 2019 年 4 月 17 日舉辦《戲曲大探索》粵劇展演工作坊，吸引有志報讀戲曲學位課程的中學生參加。
工作坊以深入淺出及輕鬆的互動方式，將粵劇藝術的「唱、唸、做、打」四大元素呈現舞台。透過專業的粵劇表演和基本功示範，加上互動遊戲如戲服試穿、把子試玩及身段示範，讓同學能夠了解粵劇表演藝術的特色及底蘊。戲曲學院的項目管理主任更向同學講解學院的收生要求及畢業生出路等同學關心的問題，使同學對戲曲課程有更深入的了解和認識。
