故事大綱 Synopsis

《夢想期限 tick, tick... BOOM!》是已故音樂劇創作人Jonathan Larson的自傳式作品，講述29歲的他奮力追尋在音樂劇界取得成功的夢想，但他即將迎來30歲生日，面對自己的生命有限，亦與女友Susan和好友Michael的關係出現變化，但他仍然追趕著時間，寫出完美的歌曲，以回應時代和生命，特別是社會中被忽略的群體、性小眾及九十年代美國面對愛滋病的議題。

製作完成後，Jonathan Larson成功得到音樂劇界的欣賞，更創作了百老匯音樂劇《Rent》，可惜卻因病離逝，無法目睹自己的成功。

tick, tick... BOOM! is an autobiographical musical by the late musical writer Jonathan Larson. It tells his personal story of the struggle on the verge of turning 30 and feels like he is running out of time to achieve the dreams of success in the musical industry. Over the course of the show, Jonathan navigates his relationships with his girlfriend Susan and his best friend Michael, while also continues to write the perfect songs to respond to the age, life and death, especially for marginalized groups, sexual minorities, and the issue of AIDS in 1990s America.

After its completion, Jonathan Larson received recognition and appreciation from the musical theatre industry, and went on to create the Broadway musical Rent. Unfortunately, he passed away and was unable to witness his own success.
